Editorial Policy

Our purpose

CheckMatter publishes free calculators and practical explanations that help people understand everyday financial, tax, date, and conversion questions.

How content is produced

Each calculator page must state its formula, assumptions, limitations, worked example, update date, and relevant primary sources. Automated tools may assist drafting or testing, but publication requires human review for clarity, calculation accuracy, useful intent, and source quality.

Sources and review

We prefer primary sources such as RBI, SEBI, the GST Council, government departments, and recognized standards bodies. Financial results are estimates and are not financial, tax, legal, or investment advice.

Updates

We review high-use tools when regulations, standard rates, or authoritative guidance changes. Every material correction is handled under our corrections policy.
